In the third quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app market on iOS in Malta saw varied performance among the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 732 in mid-July. The downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping to around 460.

Uber - Request a ride showed a notable increase in downloads in late July, reaching a high of 772 in early August. However, this upward trend did not sustain, as downloads gradually decreased to about 283 by the end of September.

Cabify maintained a relatively low download rate throughout the quarter. The highest download count was 64 in mid-September, following a slight surge from earlier weeks.

Lyft experienced modest downloads, with occasional spikes, such as reaching 51 downloads in mid-September. Overall, the app maintained a stable performance with minor fluctuations.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver remained consistent with its download numbers, peaking at 51 in early August. Although there were slight variations, the app did not experience significant growth or decline.
